Touring in support of its self-titled debut, Donna Jean & the Tricksters settled into Skipper's Smokehouse in Tampa, Florida for a 2-set performance on March 22, 2008. "We have so much to draw from in this band. It’s heaven for me," said Donna Jean Godchaux-MacKay during an interview conducted by The Music Box in January. "We’re already thinking about another [album]," she added. "We’re thinking about what’s happening next. We’re already writing material for it."
