Fifteen albums from Bob Dylan's catalog have been remastered from the
original tapes and reissued as SACD hybrid recordings. Each will play on standard CD
players and includes a layer that provides enhanced sound on SACD-capable
machines. In addition, 6 of the albums (Another Side of Bob Dylan,
Bringing It All Back Home, Blonde on Blonde, Blood on the
Tracks, Slow Train Coming, and Love and Theft) also
include a 5.1 surround sound layer, playable on SACD-capable machines. The
other nine albums being released are: The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan,
Highway 61 Revisited, John Wesley Harding, Nashville Skyline,
Planet Waves, Desire, Street Legal, Infidels, and
Oh Mercy.
