Furthur More was created for the 1997 Furthur Festival, and it kicks off with Bruce Hornsby's touching pairing of Terrapin Station and I Know You Rider as performed at the 1995 Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame Concert. This disc is worth the price just for a pristine version of that wonderful performance, but there's a lot more here.  Also iIncluded are two jams from last year's (1996) Furthur Festival:  The first is a blistering All Along the Watchtower featuring solos from Bob Weir, Jorma Kaukonen, and Cesar Rosas. The second is an equally hot pairing of Proud Mary and Not Fade Away.

In addition, Rob Wasserman performs his St. Stephen bass solo, which leads to a spaced-out and jazzy rendition of Cassidy as performed by Ratdog in April '97, while Bruce Hornsby tackles a rousing Rainbow's Cadillac. Both Rainbow's Cadillac and All Along the Watchtower were taken from last year's Liberty State Park performance.  Rounding out Furthur More are studio tracks from Planet Drum, Black Crowes, moe., Sherri Jackson, and Arlo Guthrie.
