Grateful Dead

This month's tape is the killer soundboard of the Grateful Dead's second set from 9/22/93 Madison Square Garden. David Murray sits in with the band and provides some unique and interesting horn improvisation leading to some very experimental material during Estimated Prophet and Dark Star. Also on the tape is a wonderful version of Lazy River Road which has come a long way since it was debuted earlier in the year. A beautiful Wharf Rat flows out of one of the many fabulous drum/space segments from last year. If you haven't picked this one up yet -- what are you waiting for??
