The third annual Green Apple Music Festival was held on April 20, 2008. Free events took place in eight different U.S. cities, including Washington D.C., where speakers and performers took the stage at the National Mall. It rained throughout the day, and an electrical storm forced the cancellation of performances by The Roots and Gov't Mule.
