Umphrey's McGeeState Theatre - February 22, 2007A Photo Journal by George Weiss First Appeared in The Music Box, February 2007, Volume 14, #2
On February 22, Umphrey's McGee continued its winter trek through Florida with a short but solid performance at the State Theatre in Saint Petersburg. After opening with Plunger, the band tucked a cover of The Beatles' Flying inside its own Example 1 and paired Visions of Parin with 2nd Self. The second set featured an extended jam that connected Prowler, The Fuzz, and Jimmy Stewart with a rendition of Genesis' Abacab. Fortunately, longtime Music Box supporter George Weiss was on hand to provide visual documentation of the experience.
