The 2007 Wanee Music Festival was held on April 13-14 at Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Florida. This year's stellar line-up included performances by Rusted Root, Nickel Creek, Gov't Mule, The Radiators, Keller Williams, and many others. Fresh from its annual extended run at the Beacon Theatre in New York City, The Allman Brothers Band performed on the Peach Stage on Saturday night. Its 11-song set list included renditions of Mountain Jam, Statesboro Blues, Dreams, and Whipping Post. Saxophonist Ron Holloway joined the band on In Memory of Elizabeth Reed, guitarist Chris Anderson sat in during Good Morning Little Schoolgirl, and Honeytribe's Devon Allman drummer performed with the group on Midnight Rider. Fortunately, longtime Music Box supporter George Weiss was on hand to provide visual documentation of the once-in-a-lifetime experience.
