Langerado Music Festival: Galactic

A Photo Journal by George Weiss

First Appeared in The Music Box, March 2007, Volume 14, #3

The 5th Annual Langerado Music Festival was held on March 9-11, 2007 at Markham Park in Sunrise, Florida. This year's stellar line-up included performances by Widespread Panic, Trey Anastasio, O.A.R., Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks, Toots and the Maytals, Blackalicious, and Taj Mahal. Galactic performed an 11-song set that included Bongo the Dog, Spiderbite, and Sunday School. The group concluded by fusing Black Eyed Pea with a cover of Led Zeppelin's Immigrant Song. Fortunately, longtime Music Box supporter George Weiss was on hand to provide visual documentation of the once-in-a-lifetime experience.
