Langerado Music Festival: My Morning Jacket

A Photo Journal by George Weiss

First Appeared in The Music Box, March 2007, Volume 14, #3

The 5th Annual Langerado Music Festival was held on March 9-11, 2007 at Markham Park in Sunrise, Florida. This year's stellar line-up included performances by Widespread Panic, Trey Anastasio, O.A.R., Paolo Nutini, Toots and the Maytals, Los Lobos, New Pornographers, Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, and many others. On March 10, My Morning Jacket performed a very loud but tremendously thrilling 19-song set that included fan favorites Wordless Chorus, Dondante, Gideon, Off the Record, and Steam Engine. The band concluded with an encore of Magheeta and Anytime. Fortunately, longtime Music Box supporter George Weiss was on hand to provide visual documentation of the once-in-a-lifetime experience.
